The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy".

No living beings are solid... we are all one connected integrated lifeforce of energy.

Regardless of your relationship to any higher power, or the archetypal form this power takes within your consciousness, Reiki works as spiritually guided life force energy.

Universal life force energy flows through all living beings. In our day to day human lives, stress can cause blockages in the flow of this “Chi", or “Prana" as it is also called. Reiki is a great tool for stress reduction and relaxation, which aids in clearing blockages and promotes healing.

Reiki is administered by "laying on hands", which does not require actual physical touch!  It stimulates the flow of this life force within you, hearby activating your natural healing processes, and restoring physical and emotional well-being.

Reiki is spiritual because it opens us to true Love! Opening energy centers and allowing the life force to be moved and cleared via another soul is essentially opening oneself up to universal love and light.

A treatment feels different from one person to another. For some, it is like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Some feel a warmth while others will get a cold chill. Some will see different colored lights and feel different emotions from them... others will hear higher vibrational frequencies.  Regardless of the sensations felt, Reiki is gentle and can do no harm. If you were not ready to move energy within you and experience its healing powers, you would not be here. That is simply in accordance with universal law!

Reiki treats the whole person including physcial, emotional, mental and spiritual. It produces in most clients great relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe! It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.

Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.

I have practiced Reiki since 1997, and started attuning and teaching to others in 1998.  It will be an honor to serve as a conduit for your healing and or your own healing practice.
